Aidan grows up and writing all day
2005-01-19 9:11 a.m.
Aidan’s gone from being an infant to a little boy overnight. Early this week he started crawling. Then he was pulling himself in his crib. Now two teeth are coming in. It seems like those two months where he was stuck sitting up is gone. Julie was talking tonight and wondering if part of the reason he’s been cranky the last couple of weeks is because he’s wanted to do things he hasn’t quite figured out yet. He’s become a very good crawler. Already he doesn’t have any inhibitions about following us around. He’s still a little shaky but he’ll keep going until his destination is reached. And he’s eating like a horse. (It shows too. He’s a tad chubby.) Must need all that energy for crawling. *** I’m tired. I awake every morning at 5:00 a.m. to run four miles. After the run get ready for the day and work on some personal writing projects for an hour. Then it’s off to work where I’m currently in the process of writing some ads and whitepapers. During lunch I work on my personal writing projects for an hour then it’s back to writing company material for the rest of the day. All the writing has paid off. I’ve made excellent progress on my personal writing projects. The stuff at work is some of the best I’ve ever done. It’s left little time for Diaryland however. By the time I get home each night the last thing I want to do is write. Besides it too much fun to play games with Aidan – especially now that he can crawl and follow me around the house. And there is much more to write but no time right now. I’ll update again before the end of the week. Promise.
