Everyone's sick and we close on our house tomorrow

Marathon Girl and I both have severe colds. This weekend, thankfully, has been fairly uneventful so we’ve been able to spend most of our time relaxing and doing our best to make each other better. Fortunately, Aidan seems to have been spared. While we’ve felt fairly miserable all weekend Aidan has been his normal self. He’s starting to find his feet with his hands and we think it will another week or so before he starts putting them in his mouth. I’m hoping that we’re through the worst of our colds since tomorrow I would like to go for a run, work in the morning, and close on our house in the afternoon without the distractions of being ill.
I tried to talk Marathon Girl out of running 11 miles yesterday but she insisted she run despite the head cold so she can be in shape for the marathon in January. So she and her sister did the 11 mile run. Aidan and I were the water boys and would wait for them every couple of miles with cold bottles of water and Gatorade.
It looks like everything’s good to go with the house closing tomorrow. The sellers have moved out and we did a final walk through on Friday. It looks a lot bigger with all of the seller’s stuff out of it. We were surprised by how clean they left it after they moved out. The spackled the walls to cover any nail holes (they had a lot of pictures on the walls) and even fixed some minor wear and tear problems the house inspection turned up. It’s somewhat comforting to know that we’re buying a house that has been so well cared for. I’m not sure when we’ll be moving in (our lease on the apartment isn’t up for another month) but after the walkthrough on Friday, I’d rather move sooner rather than later most because I’m excited to have our own place to call home.
