Texas Marathon, home update, and Aidan update
2004-09-09 7:05 a.m.
Marathon Girl has finally decided on a marathon to run. On the first of January she and her sister are running the Texas Marathon just outside of Houston. The plane tickets are purchased. All that’s left to do is register for the Marathon and find a rental car. Should be exciting. I’ve never been to Houston or Texas for that matter. So if anyone has any suggestions of things to do there, please e-mail me or sign the guestbook. (I did find out that the Texans are playing the Browns the day after the Marathon. Though I’m not a fan of either team, it would sure be fun to go to an NFL game. If only it were only summer, I’d line up some tickets to an Astros game.) Should be a fun trip. And Marathon Girl’s excited about running another marathon and helping train her sister to run her first marathon. *** Things are moving forward with the house. We’re still scheduled to close on Monday. The house inspection was done 10 days ago and the appraisal were completed yesterday. Everything is in check. We’re both so excited to have a place to call our own and a little more privacy then we have in our current apartment. Also a plus is knowing that Aidan will have a bunch of kids his same age to play with once he becomes a little older. And before I forget, Aidan rolled over for the first time on Sunday. He still complains when we put him on his stomach but at least he has the ability, after a little work, to push himself over. We think he should be able to roll from his back to his stomach within the next week.
