We know when the baby's coming The doctor’s appointment went well. Marathon Girl’s blood pressure is still on the high side though. The good news about all this is that the doctor is going to induce her before her due date! So we know when this little guy is going to finally come into this world. However we’ve decided to keep the date a secret for now. Not because we don’t want to share it with everyone but because we want it keep the actual day a surprise for friends and family. (Also we’d like avoid constant phone calls on the day he’s scheduled to arrive.) It’s hard to keep the event a secret though. Last night my dad called and asked how Marathon Girl was doing. I wanted to tell him when she was going to be induced but instead told him that things were going well and her due date was unchanged. (It’s true. Her due date is still the 30th of May.) And I did tell my supervisor at work when the baby was coming since I had to plan some time off. It’s just nice to know exactly when he’ll arrive. And yes, I’ll let all of you know as soon as it is possible. Finally, thanks to all those who suggested books/authors to read. I now have a long list of new books and authors to check out every time I visit Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com. Reading these new books/authors should keep me busy well through the summer.
